This is a campaign spun up on the fly one evening during the 3rd
week of the chorna virus.
It is in the Forgotten Realms (Kopeta as I call it) and is going to
be mostly an outdoor campaign.
They are in the forest S of daggerdale when they come upon an
abandon city of the elves 1500 years old,. While investigating they
find a gate that leads to a gate in a basement in the city of the
elves, Myth Dranor.
The family Silverfrond has lived in the Cormanthor Forest since the
first of their name settled there 860 years or ago. Some of them hve
moved to Harrowdale.
The forest of Cormanthor (pronounced: /kɔːrmɑːnθˈɔːr/ kor-manth-OR) was long the
place of the elven empire of Cormanthyr. It is a large, dense forest
made up of a variety of species of plants, including some trees that
can grow over 100' (30m) high deep in the woods. It is largely
abandoned today because of the Retreat, when over 90% of the elven
inhabitants left for Evereska and Evermeet or other places in the
west. It remained a large mysterious forest with old secrets for
many centuries and only recently,[as of when?] with the revival of
Cormanthyr, has it come alive again
Many of the old Elven cities are now in ruins that have been
plundered for a long time. Still, they are places of great mystery
and visiting them is a unofficial rite of passage for the young
elves area.
The Silverfrond youngsters have been living together in the center
of the Cormanthor forest in a tribal existence. They live on what
they can hunt and forage.
